SongShed

A term based, intermediate level, auditioned choir, based in Yackandandah

Founded with the support of Arts Yackandandah, SongShed has grown into a vibrant intermediate‑level auditioned choir that continues to collaborate with AY on a range of local music initiatives. Together, they aim to create opportunities for community singers of all experience levels to develop confidence, musicality, leadership potential, and harmony‑singing skills.

Under the direction of Leanne Murphy, SongShed sings an eclectic mix of contemporary, folk, choral, and original repertoire, much of it arranged or composed specifically for the group. The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings during school terms at the Yackandandah Courthouse, with new members welcome to audition at any time of year via video submission.
